The Salmons Leap Restaurant
The design idea for this site was to take simple images of a restaurant and food, it could be any images, and produce a page with visual impact. The use of black and white pictures with overlays in blocks of red achieves this.
The fading of the image for the text area and then the superimposing of the same, full colour picture, within the header helps draws the eye across the page.
The highlight colour is down to personal choice and could equally be blue, green, yellow etc. instead of red and then use another complimentary colour for the script.
The navigation has been kept deliberately simple in order to maintain the simplicity of the design and should the script need extend beyond the confines of this area a scroll bar would be added in order to maintain the "framed" look.
